Rob Burrow honoured: Northern to name train for Leeds Rhinos legend and MND campaigner

Northern will name a train after Rob Burrow, the Leeds Rhinos legend who campaigned for MND research before his death in June 2024. The operator is working with his family and the MND Association on special artwork. The train will be unveiled at a West Yorkshire station and run daily across the network. Northern has also launched new fundraising efforts, mobilising its 7,000 staff over seven weeks.
